Sprint MK II

Pictured above is the brand new Corsair Sprint MKII. As you can see it features the same great expanded cockpit of the original Sprint, but now with larger outer hulls for added stability. We will have more information about this exciting new boat soon. Stay tuned.

Gary Wins 1st Place in Singlehanded Div. in Corinthian Race in Corsair Sprint 750

Gary (pictured above on the right) came in first in the Singlehanded Multihull Division in this past weekend's Corinthian Race. In talking to him about race yesterday, he told me that he feels that he is pleased with how he really has the boat fine tuned and dialed in for singlehanding as of late. Typically the Sprint 750 is set up for a crew of 2 to 3, but Gary has rigged the boat so that he can control most of the lines in a more forward cockpit position. This allows him to tack, change sails, or put in a reef much easier while singlehanding the Sprint. It also allows for him to keep more of his weight in towards the center of the boat. With two recent singlehanded wins under his belt this year, Gary says that he is becoming quite attached to his Sprint. He sure has this boat humming.

Gary wins 1st Place in Singlehanded Division in the Three Bridge Fiasco in Corsair Sprint 750

Adam here... Just wanted to congratulate my Dad for his win in this years Three Bridge Fiasco in the Singlehanded division. He took home the first place trophy sailing his 24' Corsair Sprint 750. We did this race last year together, and finished in the middle of the pack; but still had a great time.

This is one of the more crowded races we have here on the Bay, with quite a large fleet of racers. Now I don't mean to brag but... I think it is pretty cool that age 66, my Dad is still able to singlehand a hotrod trimaran like the Sprint, and come through with the 1st palce win infront of so many other boats. Fun stuff.
